The Head Coach of the Mean Machine was seen throughout the game ranting and raving and at one point went out onto the field himself to check out the ground.  Inside sources report that the Head Coach was certain that there were spikes or some other instuments of death hidden in the pitch due to the frustrating about of deaths his team was suffering throughout the game.



Later in the press meeting the Head Coach was seen spewing profanities at anyone that walked past him.  The offensive coach for the Mean Machine stepped up to the mic and simply said, "No comment."



It was later found that the orge Turley (nicknamed the gentle giant for his inability to cause a casualty the whole season) had stuffed the team’s game wizard into his locker.  That helped clear up why the Mean Machine’s defensive coach did not pull the wizard out during the final moments of the game to secure the win for the Mean Machine.



Starting QB Paul Crewe was reported as saying, "We’ll be reeling from this one even into the tournament.  ‘Dems da breaks kiddies.  Well, its back to the basics.  Hit, run, dodge, and pass."

This game was a sobering reminder to all that they don’t call it Blood Bowl for nothing. La Rata never really controlled this game. It was reported that the Gutter Runner Trio did some major partying the night before the game and it showed on the pitch. They failed GFI’s and dodges, four or five times! Not only failed, but beat themselves senseless in the process! 4 KO’s and 1 casualty! The Trio claims that they have joined a new Cult and were bouncing themselves off the surface of the pitch in an effort to make make up for "incredible" dice rolls in their previous game. Coach Pacal will be left to sort out the truth at a later time. All in all, this should have been a loss for the Rats if it wasn’t for some terrible dice rolling by Mean Machine. The Rats were outplayed and outcoached until the last turn, but some costly mistakes by Mean Machine allowed them to dodge a bullet.
