What a game folks!



The original ladies of CIBBL pushed hard and fast for an early game lead, but failed after being hit during each ball possession.  An amazing long pass in the last seconds by the Jakes succeeded in them taking the lead instead.



What we’re wondering is why are all of the ladies smiling after taking to the pitch in this second half?  They are kicking and they are down a point.  A better question is why was Telka’s star catcher Penny talking with Grimmy of the Jakes?



Well folks with that amazing blitz I think I now know what Penny was doing.  Looks like the ladies were prepared for the Jakes offense and even though Taj failed to catch the kick off; she definitely was ready for first drive touchdown to tie the score.



What is this folks?!? Tekla is blitzing again!  The ball has popped free again and it looks like Felicia the rookie thrower is going to take in the ball with protection by Alana.



As the third drive of this second half begins, the ladies completely changed their defense as the kick off begins.  Wow folks the Jakes are falling apart out there!  What is this Teresa just intercepted the ball as the pass was coming down and she hands off the ball to Dominique. Looks like the ladies are attempting to get a last score on the board in these final seconds of the second half.  Looks like Dominique needs to spend more time with Tekla’s throwers if she believes she is able to pass.  Thankfully for the ladies, that fumble was just as the clock ran out.



“This is Vick Ditale talking with Penny of Tekla.  So Penny where were you during half time?”

“Well Vick, I was talking with Grimmy of the Joilet Jakes.”

“And what exactly did you talk about?”

“I was just admiring the Jakes play book, and was quite happy when Grimmy offered it to me.”

“So Tekla has stooped to stealing play books to win games?”

“Of course not Vick!  I promised Abigail’s mother that she would get hurt playing Blood Bowl; so when she was hit hard I decided to see what I could find out about these convicts, Grimmy just happened to be so nice and sweet.  I’m just glad I didn’t get hit by him.”

“Well there you have it folks, this is Vick Ditale back to the studio!”

The ladies timidly took to the pitch upon facing 5 orges.  But once the first kick off in a sudden blizzard started, the orges remembered thier manners and couldn’t hurt a lady.



This amazing mental snafu allowed the original ladies of CIBBL to get 3 touchdowns, even after a trip at the goal line.

The Tekla fans were in an uproar to see there team show the cowardly elves just who was the better team. 



During the first kick off a pitch invasion by the fans took down 3 Red Wing players while leaving the ladies of Tekla ready to show just how Blood Bowl is actually played.  Tamika was able to easily receive a hand-off from Penny deep in the elves half of the pitch for the first score of the game.  Apparently, the quick score and lack of blood prompted a thrown rock to KO the elven thrower, Yzerman.  Even missing their thrower the elves were able to quickly move the ball and score.  The roar of the crowd helped motivate the ladies of CIBBL and allow Asjha her first touchdown of the season.



The second half the fans calmed down, but the ladies turned up the pressure.  Though Alana succeeded in a quick sack that caused Yzerman a smashed hand and set the ball lose on the pitch, the panicked elves were able to grab the ball and get it down to the ladies half of the pitch.  Though there was a couple of hits that freed the ball, the elves were able to river dance their way to a second score.  The ladies answer to the foot work of the elves was to hit the few elves that would even stand near them, of course sending one of the Red Wing’s journeymen to their apothecary didn’t hurt the fans appreciation of the way Nuffle declared that Blood Bowl was to be played.  Moving the ball up the field again with the third successful pass by Erin and a second run in by Asjha, the ladies regained their lead.  The the half almost over, the fans rioted across the field causing the ref to reset the clock back 5 minutes.  The elves tried to make the most of it, but a strong arm by the ladies as the elves tried to set up for another pass play allowed the ladies to create a massive scrum on the Red Wing’s side of the pitch.  Though the scrum almost freed Alana to grab the ball and run, the cowardly elf player decided to just fall at the feet of Lauren instead of being pushed around, allowing time to run out.



The Tekla fans left the Silver Stadium happy for the first win by the ladies of CIBBL.  Of course the damages that were caused by those fans reduced the amount paid to both teams, causing continued player grief for both coaches.

With a vary back and forth set of plays, both teams succeeded in scoring in the first half.  Unfortunately for the gals of CIBBL the dwarves hit hard and didn’t let up.  Candice was killed due to the team apothecary being busy keeping Dominique living and in the game.



Erin and Penny seemed to not know how to run during the second half.  You’ll probably see in the highlight reels this week Lauren’s amazing last minutes long bomb pass to Taj, after Hido Bravetunneler from the Killer’s failed run to score a game winning touchdown.



Coach shrub needs to get these gals practicing harder if he wishes to see them progress this season.
