Not a good start. with a chef on sidelines, and a 1 turner, there was a challenge here.  2nd card was distract, so boneheaded 4 players a turn for 2 turns no real answer for 1 turner with a pitch invasion. but did manage to break armor, all day, couldn’t follow it up with any, real damage. rolled dont know how many 1’s on injury rolls.  Joe well played, byut like we talked, u are a 1 trick pony, and with that team value heading toward 2 mill look out for clouds and thunder, cause the wizard might be in your future. alos leavin you guys on the sideline is very risky, if a team gets down a couple to you, beware a some coaches (coff coff baugh coff neil coff) wanting to surf you. you can score with the best, but as the my ol ball coach said, offense wins games, but defense wins championships. Luck to you. Side note, little brother milton has more caus, than big brother ogie, wouldn’t want to see ogie next time he plays. u cant have little bro out doing you! I win toss take ball, chef takes 2 rerolls, has a card to win all fans/coach kickoffs, so rerolls no problem for undead… Super, never wanted a riot or two to break out in all my life, get the bus started, and keep it runnin we out of here as soon as final whistle blows.  1st half remember I wanted the dodging shoes on, well, I guess the boys thought I said put on your 3 step fall down shoes, cause thats what they were wearin.  failed dodges 2 turns in a row, and followed that up with back to back failed go for its. still somehow manages to push a score across in round 6, and survive the bashing mummies to end half up 1 - 0. only 1 man hurt. 2nd half starts, and undead have that problem they always seem to have, pickin up the ball. It happened early in his turn, so I pounced on it, and scored to go up 2 - 0. Ok breathing room, only 6 turns left, looking o.k. caus tied up 1-1, picked off a skelly.  From round 3 to 8, was just pummeled by undead, mummies after my ogre, and skellys looking to hit anything living.  They score on round 6, and i play punching bag for 2 more rounds, because of my failure to dodge away and pick up the ball, and a nasty little card that didn’t let me use my paltry 2 rerolls for 2 full rounds in end of game.  One thing I would have done differently was not put the str potion on your mummy, let a skele have it and use his higher movement to hit my softer guys away from middle of field scrum.  I had nothin to go against the str5 mummies already, let a str3 guy hit like a freight train for once.  Other than that u figure out your ball handling, and find a little speed, a force you will be, your defense is pretty stout.  BLOCK on all your mummies.  Seriously, if you figure out how to handle the ball, tell me.  Love to figure that one out myself.  Good game.

Fans we must put an end to this, there aint no such thing as a pretty dwarf, and a dwarf cheerleader is foulness beyond all imagination. Lunch was left on the pitch.  The second half continued the next day, with the dwarves starting with the ball and angry.  1st 3 blocks put 3 stompers on the sidelines, 2 ko’d, 1 badly hurt.  The cage was set, and was ready to steamroll down the field after a double skull stopped a cage break attempt by the Stompers.  The dwarves let it all hang out on the drive, which included a fireball aimed straight at Milton the Stompers big ogre, but a dwarf got too close as was as it turned out the only injury the massive fireball caused.  However 2 stompers were on the ground, and the dwarven cage rolled to the goal line on there turn 5. Tie game 4 turns to go, only 10 dwarves on the pitch.  The Stompers turn 5 began as planned but 4 “1’s” in 5 rolls of the dice put a stomper catcher on the ground, and the ball in the stands, apparently in a section of miner fans, as the ball was thrown back onto the pitch right in the center of a group of dwarves.  The dwarves however were bit by some bad luck, and a blitz and a lucky bounce put the ball back in stomper hands for the game winner.  Not a easy game by a long shot.  miners picked up a very nice skill on a dwarf, and a ton of money from the fans night for them.  I smelled deisel fuel and saw a large cloud of black smoke rolling out of a tent on the dwarven side, had to have been a deathroller.  Look out boys, dwarves are starting to look nasty. Good game!

Human, Young lion vs. Old Alpha male, or more accurately as game would prove, his guard vs. my mighty blow. tie for fame,... bummer, with 40k in spiraling expenses a game fame is always a good thing. Starbucks take a card and a babe, not bad, maybe xtra apoth, but card did have promise. kick to him, he loads heavy to 1 side and I get a perfect defense, and counter it. Stalemate on his heavy side, but a very smooth reversal of direction, with some fancy catcher footwork, outpace my -1 mv linemen to the end zone, for his rd 5 score.  Np, 4 rounds to go into half 1-1 perfect, easy,no problem. CRAP… 4 back to back 1,re-roll 1’s stopped my 1st half drive in its tracks, ball control always a factor in Steeltown!? maybe its hard to pick up a ball when you are wearing brass knuckles and carrying a roll of gold crowns for added pop? got to be it. So we do what we do, turn 2nd half into a brawl.  we punch one in to even score on our round 5, and play some d...that when I get scared.  Kinda like Bill Murray in Space jam, “no I don’t really do defense”...Did I really just reference space jam,?!  ITS BILL MURRAY leave me alone, I can do that.  Start the stand by hitting “cousin” (that’s what Milton kept calling him) Url in the noggin with a rock. good start, then just started to grind him up.  Guard did serve him well all day, and the sand it takes to confidently trot out catchers on defense should not be ignored, but this is blood bowl my friends, and mighty blow tends to tilt a game.  As the clock started to tick down, so did the number of starbucks on the field, I must hand it to the kid, he went for the win, got a little desperate, but hey, thats what youth will and can do for you.  All in all 5 times double 1’d my drives to stops.  And the card he drew was a loony on the pitch, he did play well.  I too can say I will take a tie given the circumstances.  Well except I rolled 10k for winnings, and ended the day 30k less than I started with. Well played, now get some mighty blow and start wrecking some teams.  Hope to see you in the premier soon!!!

WE GONNA STOMP EM!  Pretty nasty beating was laid out, chef only took 1 reroll all game, card was fireball, that ko’d 1 stunned 2.  But these “farm team” boys played some D.  Something the Renegades could learn to do.  Gage, good skill builds on your players, now expand your playbook to have some plays when your “stars“(catchers) go down.
